Prepare !

Two Saturdays ago, which would have been February 1st, I was asking the Lord about our house situation (we still are not living in our own home) and about certain unfolding events in the world and in our country. All day, two thoughts were repeated in my mind. The first was "We're moving soon! We're moving soon!" and the second one was "Prepare!" The thoughts were very peaceful and more like a whisper just being repeated over and over.

Since I want to grow in my capacity to hear the Lord and also grow in the knowledge of how He actually speaks to me, I always ask Him to confirm, without any doubt, what I believe I'm hearing. It turns out that that weekend, I needed to go to the five o'clock mass at St. Monica's, and at communion - an excellent time to petition the Lord - I asked the Lord to confirm, without any doubt, if what I was hearing was in fact from Him. I still kept hearing the same two things, "We're moving soon!" and "Prepare!"
Once I got home, Chris Keyes, a dear friend of ours, had already arrived to share supper with us and he asked me what he often does, "So...what's the Lord saying?" Right away, I responded, "Prepare!"

Well, later that evening, as we were watching an episode of Agent Carter (from the Marvel Universe), 😀 there's a scene where Peggy Carter discovers an enemy sending a Morse code signal to one of their accomplices. She proceeds to decode it and sure enough, the message begins with...."Prepare!"
​
All three of us almost shot out of our seats saying "Wow!" We all instantly felt that anointing when you know that God is truly speaking and is making things particularly clear.
The next day, I was listening to a video that Pauline, another dear friend of ours had sent us at least a week earlier. It was a word that was released recently by a Canadian who has a prophetic ministry. I had started to listen to it but had had to stop in order to attend to other things. Well, that Sunday morning, I decided to finish listening to the interview and practically the very first word I heard was...."Prepare!" I knew then that I had definitely heard the Lord correctly and that He was making very sure I didn't miss His word.

Now this man's word went on to say,

"Prepare to deploy!
Prepare to overtake and overcome!
Prepare to disciple the nations!
Prepare to battle with me!
Armour up! Blow the trumpet! Sound the alarm!
Prepare to recover all that the enemy has stolen".
The enemy has stolen much and he's taken over a lot of ground to build his own version of reality on this planet.
​I've been hearing the words "Prepare!" and "Get ready" for almost a year now. The Lord hasn't yet fully confirmed the first word about our move, but he has certainly confirmed the second one about preparing.
​
Of course, the preparations we are to undertake are linked to our upcoming move, but Marcel and I know that our move is also connected to the bigger picture of what is happening nationally and globally, and that we also have to prepare ourselves for what is coming and for what is pretty much upon us.
Things are being shaken. People are waking up and realizing that they have to step up to the plate. Our country is being shaken and this is producing a shift that will have an effect on many areas of our life.

Marcel and I continue to ask the Lord how exactly we are to prepare in every area of our lives, both temporal and spiritual and we await the day when especially all the Catholic prophecies spoken from the 1900's to today are fulfilled.

Blessed those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes.
You too must stand ready, because the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
